Whats the wrap for around the bottle on AF guns
A friend of mine asked, and I’m not sure but I was thinking it’s for your face? Or could it be to protect the bottle? 😳

Probably unknown to AF at the time, but it also helps dampen vibrations when. I had a 800 cc tank without a wrapping and other than it feeling cold even in summer it rang like a bell…
Imagine having to place your cheek on that cold metal bottle at sub-zero temperatures 😀
My guess: it’s for comfort.
