Big Velocity Swings (top hat was loose)
Hey guys, I’m new to this forum, (I’m known as dominate on the talonownersgroup forum)
Right now I am running my .22 Talon SS on C02 using the C02 adaptor. After I burned through about 1,500 I started to notice big velocity swings (100 FPS or more every 5-15 shots) because of a loose top hat.
Once I adjusted it and tightened it down all is much better. So if you are new like me and find low shots every so often make a mental note to check and tighten the top hat… 😉

A little blue loctite on each tophat set screw will prevent loosening.

Someone should forward this to airforce. I take your advice will back them out one at a time and use loctite. 😀
